Fintech Design System Rebrand

Leveraging a fresh rebranding concept for Zip, an Australian fintech disruptor, to meticulously craft a comprehensive new design system and brand identity, seamlessly launching across all product touchpoints with a smooth user experience.

A rapid six-week project for product rebrand overhaul. Swiftly revamping the product's branding, building out the new design system, illustrating UI assets, and constructing Figma library with coherant guidelines for the organisation.

The brand concept, provided by Koto Agency and in-house mobile app designer, served as look and feel references to build out the entire UI design system for the product.

The fundamental part of this rebrand project was that the previous brand colours, type, illustrations, and icons distributed across the mobile app, website, digital channels, and print materials, were to all be redesigned and launched seamlessly to align with the new brand identity.

The brand launch was segmented into phases and strategically released to maintain uninterrupted user experiences.

Therefore, mapping existing typography with new fonts ensured a seamless transition, preserving the user journey throughout the live changes.

Web Type

READMEs, guidelines, and mock-up examples were created and distributing to marketing, design, and product teams to showcase the new changes and product look and feel.

The new brand identity was applied live across the app, website and all online and offline channels cohesively.

The product, marketing, and engineering teams were efficiently briefed and followed all proposed designs and guidelines, culminating in the seamless and successful launch of the brand without encountering any technical issues.
