PROBLEM
The existing Zalando lookbook microsite was difficult to navigate and understand, resulting in a high volume of email enquiries and repetitive manual requests from users such as media press and internal Zalando PR managers — leaving these teams overwhelmed and stretched for time day to day.
The microsite's hard-coded structure also made it difficult for non-technical users to update content each season, creating a recurring dependency on design and engineering resource from the PR creative department every quarter and prolonging project timelines.
SOLUTION
Created a cohesive experience where media professionals can scan an overview of the season's styling, view each outfit with linked products, and download the entire fashion press package for all their editorial needs.
The new design brought sophistication and a clean UI, while staying true to the Zalando brand. Design outcomes:
