Quick Pay Chrome Extension

A Chrome extension for a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service tailored to online retail, designed to streamline checkout and increase both user adoption and payment speed.

OBJECTIVES

The extension integrates directly into the web browser, letting users select the BNPL option seamlessly at checkout without navigating away or re-entering information.

A two-phase rollout, designed to measure initial adoption and uptake ahead of developing phase two.

  • Phase one used retail URL recognition to trigger a shopping alert pop-up, allowing us to measure consumer interest.
  • Phase two evolved to let users log into their BNPL account, view their balance, choose an account, and generate a virtual, one-time-use Visa card.

The project included all Chrome Web Store asset creation and experience, from search through to the downloaded plugin.

Banner promotions were added to the BNPL website for feature awareness and A/B tested on the Zip Shop page.
